Cap Canaille Mediterranean

Cap Canaille

One of the highest sea cliffs in Europe (394m), with one of the most spectacular views of the Mediterranean.

Here you overlook the Mediterranean, the calanques, with Cassis and La Ciotat in the distance. A breathtaking panorama that has earned Cap Canaille the nickname of the “Soubeyranes cliffs”.

It can be reached via the famous 15km Route des Crêtes, which leads from the Gulf of Cassis to the Gulf of La Ciotat: a winding route along the cliffside, world-famous for its changing colours at sunset.

This exceptional natural site is a paradise for walkers, romantics and contemplative types.
